Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all renter requirements. All additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. Additional drivers can added at any rental location and at any time during the rental. An additional driver fee of 400 ZAR (excl. VAT) per rental applies. Additional drivers are not permitted with cross-border travel.
Age Requirements
The minimum age requirement to drive all vehicles is 23. The maximum age to rent is 85. A young driver fee of 200 ZAR per day applies for all renters between the age of 21 and 22. Renters between the age of 21 and 22 may rent the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, and Intermediate.
Cross Border Policy
Outside South Africa, vehicles can be driven in Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, and Eswatini only. A cross-border fee of 2,500 ZAR per border will apply to all authorized countries and territories. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and acquire written authorization. Customers are required to inform the rental branch about any cross-border travel at least 72 hours in advance. All unauthorized cross border travel will result in a breach of contract.
Collision Damage Waiver Super Cover
Super Waiver (SCDW) is an optional coverage that reduces the applicable deductible amount in case of damage to and/or theft of the vehicle. If SCDW is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase.
The deductible can be reduced to 5000 ZAR for the vehicle categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard. For the categories Full Size, Premium and Standard Truck the deductible is reduced to 14,000 ZAR. Luxury vehicles have a reduced deductible of 50,000 ZAR. The deductible will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost, not returned or stolen.
Before purchasing SCDW it is advised to determine if personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If SCDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the deductible amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. SCDW is not insurance.

Top-up Waiver (CDW) is an optional coverage that reduces the applicable deductible amount in case of damage to and/or theft of the vehicle. If CDW is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase.
The deductible can be reduced to 25,000 ZAR for the vehicle categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard. For the categories Full Size, Premium and Standard Truck the deductible is reduced to 70,000 ZAR. Luxury vehicles have a reduced deductible of 150,000 ZAR. The deductible will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost, not returned or stolen.

One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. This one-way fee varies based on car category, location, and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, the desired route, and car category.
Refueling Service
We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per liter will be higher than local fuel prices. A 20% surcharge will apply.
Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused fuel. Prepaid fuel is available at 5% less than the local fuel prices.
Customer Refills
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as received to avoid extra fuel charges.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals and redeem points at this location. Redemption reservations must be booked online by the customer, in advance of their scheduled pick up date.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption reservations must be booked in advance of their scheduled pick up date (either online or by phone).
Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits on National and Enterprise brand rentals, but can only redeem at National brand locations. A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached in order to earn credit/points.
Forms of Payment
All major credit cards, issued by either Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Diners Club are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renters name. Prepaid cards, cash, and checks are not accepted. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. Deposit amounts for each car class are included below:
5,000 ZAR – Mini, Economy, Economy SUV, Compact, Intermediate and Standard
8,000 ZAR – Compact SUV, Intermediate SUV, Standard SUV, Intermediate Passenger Van, Standard Pick-up
15,000 ZAR – Full Size, Full Size SUV, Full Size Pickup, Premium, Premium SUV, Premium Pickup, Intermediate Cargo Van, Standard Cargo Van
25,000 ZAR – Full Size Passenger Van, Premium Passenger Van
35,000 ZAR – Luxury, Luxury Passenger Van
50,000 ZAR – Luxury SUV, Full Size Cargo Van, Standard Elite Passenger Van
Roadside Protection
Roadside Protection (RAP) is an optional 24-hour emergency service including all recovery and call-out charges because of a fault caused by the renter or road hazards.
RAP does not cover any vehicle repairs and does not apply if there is a breach of the rental agreement or if the wrong fuel type is used. Before purchasing RAP, it is advised to determine if personal coverage is adequate to cover these charges. If RAP is declined, the renter will be required to pay any applicable charges and seek compensation from the carrier of personal coverage. RAP is not insurance.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a full valid driving license. All drivers must have held their license for at least 3 years. In addition, all renters must provide a valid government-issued photo ID such as a passport or ID card. A valid credit card in the renter's name must be presented upon collection of the vehicle. If the driving license is written in a language and characters different from those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation. Customers wishing to rent a Premium or Luxury vehicle will also need to provide local proof of residence or a round-trip travel itinerary at the time of pick-up.

Third Party Liability
Third-Party Liability Coverage (SLP) is an optional coverage that reduces the applicable deductible amount to zero for all car classes in case of damage to and/or theft of the vehicle caused by a third party who does not have sufficient coverage or insurance. If SLP is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase.
Before purchasing SLP it is advised to determine if personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If SLP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the deductible amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. SLP is not insurance.
Tire and Windshield Protection
Tire and Windshield Protection (TWP) is an optional coverage that reduces the renter’s financial responsibility to zero in the event of damage to the tires and/or windshield of the vehicle.
Before purchasing TWP it is advised to determine if personal coverage is adequate to cover damage to tires and/or windshield. If TWP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. Tire and Windshield Protection is not included with the CDW, SCDW and ZE coverage. TWP is not insurance.
